MotoGP Racer Marco Simoncelli Bike

At best, racing is an exciting profession-but with great reward, great risk often goes hand in hand. Unfortunately, the very talented Marco Simoncelli was not the first and will not be the last pilot we lost far too young. However, now is someone’s unique opportunity to test a Gresini Honda CBR 1000 rr in which the super sic once used, so let’s take a look.

The bike is located in Ruote da sogno, a classic car and Bike showroom that boasts the presentation of more than 700 classic motorcycles at a time. It’s not a museum and it’s not a collection; it’s a place for enthusiasts to visit, appreciate and hopefully take home a two-or four-wheeled vehicle.

The store is located in Reggio Emilia, in the heart of what is known as the Italian engine Valley. Of course you can eat, drink and see all the beautiful moto and car art you want in the region. Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, Lamborghini and, of course, our beloved Ducati are all conveniently located nearby.

This Gresini CBR 1000 RR comes with a certificate of authenticity and origin from the Gresini Racing team, signed by Fausto Gresini himself. It was used in testing, not racing, and three separate Gresini Honda pilots used it for various tests. In 2011, Super Sic ran in the saddle for the first time. In 2012, Michele Pirro used it to test Vallelunga.

Finally, in 2014, Scott Redding used it for a test in Jerez. The bike is certainly used, but Ruote da sogno says it is well maintained. Unfortunately, no further details are given as to what maintenance involves, but we are sure that you can ask any questions you may have if you are considering buying them. Speaking of which, although it is currently based in Italy, the dealer is willing to ship it abroad.
